To Pat, being a leader is not about personal rewards or gain. It’s all about the business, employees and quality services. Not your typical leader. But then Pat has never been about the status quo.
As CEO and founder of Works Computing, Pat likes to keep it simple – empowering others to do their best and treating people how he’d like to be treated. His hands-on, down-to-earth approach keeps the business focused, his team relaxed and customers happy.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota, Pat sharpened his sales skills at Coca Cola. He joined IBM in 1987 and quickly established himself in the technology field. It was this experience that Pat leveraged to launch Works Computing in 1994. Since then, he’s helped grow the start-up venture into a $30 million annual business – making it one of the leading enterprise IT solutions providers in the Midwest.
When not in the office, Pat enjoys spending time with friends, his wife and three kids – who keep him very busy with their active lives.
