Works Computing Sponsors MN Wild 2011-12 Season

Minneapolis, Minn. (Oct. 19, 2011) — Works Computing, an enterprise IT solutions provider in the Twin Cities,  today announced it has signed its first sponsorship agreement with the MN Wild for the 2011-12 hockey season.

The sponsorship includes exclusive Works Computing “Time on Ice” live announcements and scoreboard signage; digital dasherboards, event suite nights, advertising on wild.com’s homepage; and advertising in Our Pond, the MN Wild season ticketholders monthly electronic newsletter.

About the MN Wild

The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. They are members of the Northwest Division of the
Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was founded in 2000, becoming the first NHL franchise in Minnesota since the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas in 1993. Minnesota has two minor-league affiliates, the Houston Aeros and the Bakersfield Condors. As of 2011, the Wild have averaged a .531 winning percentage since entering the league and are the only expansion team from 1997 to advance past the second round of the playoffs.
